This is a pretty good running shoe with tons of good cushion – good for a 205 lb guy like me that covers 30 miles or so in a week. I was able to put four miles on them the first night I pulled them out of the box. My only complaint is the design of the heel. Adidas seperated one side of the heel from the other, I think to reduce weight, but I live in the desert and constantly get rocks stuck in it. The split in the middle also isn’t great for lateral movement, so I wouldn’t recommend this shoe for cross training or as a common athletic shoe. If you are just looking to straight-up log miles, you’ll be happy with the Salvation.

Married to someone who runs on pavement constantly. He has had problems with his ankles and knees, but since using these there no longer seems to be a problem. The only complaint I have is that he came home yesterday sad faced because one of the inflated pockets popped in the shoe. He is hard on his shoes, so I dont blame the product.

I have only worn these shoes a few times but they are like walking on a cloud. I myself am not a huge runner but can see where these would be fantastic for running. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who likes a lot of cushion and stability.

I have been a long time fan of Asics running shoes until I tried these on. I have no arches and use motion control shoes. Although these are not motion control shoes but stability+ shoes, I decided to get them since the look of the motion control shoes (Brooks Beast, New Balance 1012) look like orthopedic shoes. These are cool looking shoes! The first thing you will notice is the cushioning in the mid-foot area. I compared these to the others listed above as well as Asics gel evolution 5 and Kayano’s. These shoes have all the fancy stuff that is supposed to be better for your foot: adiPRENE, adiWEAR, formotion, blown rubber, pro-moderator torsion system and geofit. Even though all running shoes have similar stuff, once you tries these on you will most like buy these for the amazing cushioning that makes the other shoes feel like you are running barefoot.

Love these runners, they’re light weight, supportive, have an incredible amount of cushioning and breath extremely well. I’ve done 3 distance runs with them (12,13 and 13 kms) and they’ve been fantastic. And the price is unreal at less than $56 for the pair.
