They are great runner and I’ve always thought that could never find a good pair of shoes. Once installed in his shop working on these shoes, I’ve never been happier. I can get 200-300 miles from each couple, no problem. If the price is not embarrassing to get a new pair when you need them.

Great pair of shoes

I’m a bigger runner and have always thought I could never find a good pair of shoes. After being fitted in a proper running store with these shoes, I have never been happier. I can get 200-300 miles out of each pair with no problem. The price is set where it’s not painful to get a new pair when I need them.

All in all a great shoe for a great price.

Best shoe I have owned

I run usually between 20-40 miles a week and I alternate between the treadmill and outside on the pavement. These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn while running and most comfortable overall for casual purposes as well. I did some research first and discovered my foot type and found which shoe type would fit me best. These were recommended for neutral runners and runners that may underpronate. I went and tried them on and made up my mind in about 15 seconds to buy them. They are extremely comfortable, the biggest difference I notice is around/under the heel and on the balls of my feet and it is the closest feeling I will get to running on a pillow top mattress. They are that good. Highly recommended.

Disappointed Nimbus Lover

I have been an Asics fan and customer ever since I started running more seriously, about 10 years, and 18 marathons ago. I appreciated the perfect fit, and the ultimate in cushioning, first in Cumulus, then in Nimbus.

I couldn’t imagine wearing another brand of running shoe, and the odd experiment with Nike, Brooks, Reebok, New Balance, etc. only confirmed my belief that Asics was, and always would be, my shoe. Recently, I bought two pairs of Nimbus 11′s, intending to rotate usage.

The first time I wore them, on a short (6 mile) run, a little internal nubbin created by the sewing joining two pieces of the shoe lined up directly over the first knuckle of my big toe (or, if you prefer, the tibial sesamoid of my first metatarsal). It rubbed a nice circular hole through the skin which bled all over my socks. A fluke I thought. I put on a Band-Aid, and tried again; different socks, tighter lacing; the other new pair — each time the skin opened up at the same spot. Asymmetrical lacing may be a fine idea, but for me, it creates a rubbed spot exactly where I don’t need one (actually, that would be anywhere on the foot, but an area where skin stretches over the bone

is particularly bad). My Nimbus 10′s also had asymmetrical lacing, but for some reason, did not have that little nubbin the elevens do. My foot is a little wide, but otherwise not unusual. I still love Asics, but I’m doing the mail-order thing to find a couple pairs of Nimbus 10′s.

Moral: Poke your finger in your new Nimbus 11′s before you buy, and if you feel a little bump over the tibial sesamoid, ask your Salesperson about the return policy.

If the shoe fits Wear it! Fits great and very comfortable. Have worn for running, walking and lots of raquetball. Second pair of Asics, they are very durable especially given I use them 3 to 4 times a week on the court.

Asics gel nimbus 11 is worth every penny

Best sneakers ever. Light, cushioning, great for people with hard to find comfortable sneakers. I must have tried on 20+ pairs of Nike, Reeboc, New Balance, etc, and these were by far the best. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. they are also approved by the American Podiatric Association.
